On this second release by Poke-1,170, the possibilities of what the MSX computer is sonically capable of are explored at greater depth, leading to an EP of dark electro and idm tracks.
The overal theme of the EP is based on sleep cycles, circadian rhythms, and the influence of darkness and light on the sleep-wake patterns.
Former hometown buddy Danny Jeroense delivers a great remix of Zeitgeber as Canvax, while mix engineer Johan Weterings reworks Dial-up into a dark electro track.

Cryptochrome EP constructed on a philips nms 8250 msx2 homecomputer system. All circadian rhythms (re)arranged and reset at midnight by poke-1,170. Chronotype beats sequenced by FM-PAC and Music Module extensions.Zeitgebers ignored and duped by the blue light of a philips gr2330/10B consumer electronics color display at 50hz.
